Had eggs Sunnyvale eggs Benedict and veggie omelette. Both were awesome! Update, on the way out I was going to take a picture of all their coffee offerings, and the owner said “You have to get the ‘menu artist’ in there”. Turns out we both used to live in the menomonee falls area. Awesome place, awesome conversation 😊

My servers name was Sarah, she was friendly, social, very observant, and quick to meet our needs. This is one of my favorite breakfast restaurants around, and i would highly recommend it. But their menu isn't limited to breakfast. I'm a breakfast guy, so I am happy to have Nicolet available when I'm looking for a family atmosphere. Thank u to the staff.

It's a classic diner setting. Family friendly. Good coffee, and really you HAVE to try the corned beef hash!

The train station-turned restaurant has a friendly atmosphere. They make you feel at home, serving coffee in an ordinary mug, just like I was at home. I am a big breakfast griddle person so I ordered the French toast with seasonal strawberries on top. The seasoning was perfect, not too strong. The service was excellent.

I had breakfast, solo, at the counter on 8/14/25. My ham & cheese omelet was chock full of ham. Toast was thick Texas Toast and nicely buttered. Sausage links were hot and flavorful. My server was very attentive to coffee refills and making sure all was o.k. She was fantastic and I tipped generously. I will return next time I'm in town.

Father's Day was extremely busy. We found a seat at the counter. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We were served our beverages quickly. Gypsy had a Ruben with a cup of soup. I had a patty melt with a salid. The food was delicious. We will definitely return when we are in the area.

We found this place recently and we all agreed it will be a definite spot we come back to! 5 of us ate, and all different meals (breakfast). Everything was great and even though they were extremely busy, our service was consistently good and our waitress was very friendly and helpful. The only complaint I would have is that it's very small and could be a bit bigger.

When I rate places I also take into account the price of what you're paying for and what you get. The character of this place is wonderful it's an old rehabbed train station which is obvious and they keep it up as well as I can I think it adds charm and it's wonderful. If you want to bring the kids and not break the bank this is the place to go if they're going to leave full and you're going to have most of your money still in your pocket. It cost more to eat at McDonald's and does cost to eat here and this is 10 times better. I'm not going to say this is a three-star Michelin but I'm going to say...if you don't like it here I'll pay you back. (Not really). But just show up you'll love it I guarantee it. ❤️❤️❤️

Absolutely Outstanding Breakfast – Worth Every Penny! My wife and I have been searching for a great breakfast spot in the Green Bay area for years, and we finally found it at Nicolet Restaurant in DePere. This place is the real deal. The food is genuinely fantastic. Everything tastes homemade from scratch, especially their biscuits and gravy. The gravy is thick, flavorful, and actually loaded with real meat — not the thin, watery stuff we've been disappointed with at so many other local restaurants. Every bite feels like it was made with care and quality ingredients. What really sets Nicolet apart, though, is the service. The waitresses are incredibly friendly, attentive, and actually make eye contact with you when they talk — something that seems to be a lost art these days. You can tell the ownership takes real pride in the place, and that pride shows in both the food and the warm, welcoming atmosphere. We left feeling completely satisfied and already planning our next visit. If you're in the DePere/Green Bay area and want a true from-scratch breakfast experience with excellent service, do yourself a favor and go to Nicolet Restaurant. You won't be disappointed!Highly recommended — 5 stars all the way!

First time coming here was for father's day, we got our food super quick for having an almost completely packed place at the time. Ordered the eggs benny, it was delish the eggs were cooked perfect, and it comes with a generous sized piece of ham. Pricing is great for the quality. I'll definitely keep this place in mind for the future.
